I believe that anyone who wants to play Cello can learn how to. It just depends on the amount of work they are willing to put in and not giving up no matter how frustrating it can get. The music lessons and practice will be fun when hand positions are correct and don't bring painful consequences. The progress will come with the consistency in playing. Learning any musical instrument will build character and the life skill of setting goals and working hard to achieve them. The goals may vary for every student. From a young child with the aspiring dreams to become a professional cellist to a retired man who has always wanted to play cello, but could not find the time to learn it. Every student is different and because of that, every teaching method will vary.
