My Background

I am 39 years old and I have been playing the cello since the age of 8. I graduated with a masters degree in Cello performance from University of Arts in Kharkov, Ukraine. During that time, I worked at a symphony orchestra for an opera theater as a principal cellist. I received diplomas from music competitions and Grand Prix.

After graduation, I moved to my hometown in Ukraine and worked for a philharmonic orchestra for over 4 years, played chamber music and traveled throughout Europe playing cello as a part of a quartet. In 2014, I moved to the United States primarily focusing on teaching, playing music events, writing and recording music.

With more then 25 years of cello playing and 15 years of teaching experience, I helped my students successfully receive a placements in YOSA youth orchestra, in San Antonio Texas and Glendale California.

As a musician and educator I’m blessed teaching in Emporia University and Tabor College in Kansas. I thoroughly enjoy performing chamber music and solos repertoire with fellow music faculty members. Additionally, I appreciate the opportunity to sub with Wichita and Kansas city orchestras.
